Who is running for Bartlesville city council in 2026

The field is officially set for the Nov. 3, 2026, Bartlesville City Council election, with contested races in every ward.

In Ward 1, incumbent Tim Sherrick will face challenger Michael Colaw.

Ward 2 will feature an open seat after Councilman Larry East opted not to seek reelection. David Austin and Cameron Byers have filed to run for the position.

Ward 3 will see incumbent Mayor Jim Curd challenged by Josh Lock and Ingard Curtiss.

In Ward 4, incumbent Aaron Kirkpatrick faces two challengers: Joel Rabin and Amanda Veley.

Ward 5 incumbent and Vice Mayor Trevor Dorsey will defend his seat against Angela Utley and Eddie Collins.
